Matt Kraycinovich is a seasoned marketing communications, public affairs and strategic development executive with more than fifteen years of extensive experience helping a range of businesses and non-profit organizations grow. With a background in radio, media sales and business and non-profit development, Kraycinovich places a high priority upon client relationships and their goals to create highly effective strategies that deliver real results.
Matt began his career at a full-service political media agency with offices in Washington, DC and the Carolinas where he produced an award-winning and nationally syndicated radio show for one of the nation’s largest PACs. He also helped script, shoot and produce numerous impactful TV, radio and web ads for dozens of federal, state and local candidates, ballot initiatives and issue advocacy organizations. He then directed client finance operations at a major political media planning and placement firm with responsibility for managing more than $60M in transactions. Later he served as general manager and sales director at two Florida heritage radio stations in one of the nation’s top 50 markets, launching the AM signals on the FM dial and nearly doubling station ad revenue while substantially increasing the viability and value of both broadcast properties.
Matt transferred his for-profit business development experience to the non-profit world holding several senior leadership positions including Director of Development, Chief Operating Officer, and Interim Executive Director at one of the inaugural sites of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. In these roles, he expanded the organization’s media footprint with an innovative combination of new and traditional advertising strategies, identified and developed sustainable revenue streams, and successfully worked with some of the National Capital Region’s most prominent business executives, philanthropists, elected officials and community leaders to significantly grow the organization’s base of support.
Today, Matt leads a marketing communications and strategic development consulting firm advising corporate and non-profit clients in media, broadcasting, political communications, tourism, and historic preservation.
Kraycinovich earned a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his Master of Arts in U.S. History from Boston College.
